History
In 1956, the founder, Mr. Roger Meunier, decided that the time had come to offer people from the meat industry in Montreal an opportunity to meet while having fun.
It got off to a modest start, a golf tournament that only included a dozen people from the industry. Interest grew very quickly. By word of mouth, the number of participants, made up of friends and golf enthusiasts from our industry, increased from 8 to nearly 300 players.
Given the changing markets, the committee has doubled its efforts and is proud of the interest generated and the importance of our tournament in the industry. We offer you a wonderful opportunity to develop business ties in a friendly environment where entertaining the world of Montreal’s meat industry is a priority.

The first committee
A group of business leaders, full of ideas and enthusiasm, are part of the first committee formed in 1958.
